Alex

Alex’s tattoo story started earlier than most — with a homemade machine and a crew of brave friends at just 12 years old. What began as fearless curiosity evolved into a lifelong craft. Entirely self-taught, he’s now 15 years deep into a professional career defined by precision, patience, and raw talent.

Working out of Club Tattoo at the Miracle Mile, Alex specializes in black and gray realism, with a powerful focus on portraits. His philosophy? It all comes down to light and shadow — the subtle contrasts that bring skin to life and emotion to the surface. Inspired early on by his brother and later by masters like Caravaggio, Alex pulls from deep artistic roots, blending fine art techniques with street-learned grit.

His work is also influenced by culture — proudly shaped by his Mexican heritage and inspired by traditions and styles from around the world. You’ll see that depth in his work: every piece grounded in technique, elevated by meaning.

Alex thrives in the high-energy pace of the studio and the camaraderie of his team. He doesn’t play favorites when it comes to tattoos — because for him, every piece deserves the same care and dedication. Off the floor, he sharpens his skills through calligraphy, painting, charcoal drawing, and training — always pushing for more.

If you’re looking for realism that captures soul and story, Alex brings the vision, technique, and focus to make it unforgettable.
