Audrey’s piercing career began with a spark of encouragement from her tattoo artist, who saw her potential, secured her an apprenticeship, and eventually became her first boss. That opportunity led to a formal apprenticeship in Houston, Texas, where she laid the foundation for what would become a thriving and passionate career in body piercing. With five years of professional experience and her application pending with the Association of Professional Piercers, Audrey continues to grow her craft while creating positive, lasting experiences for every client.
Currently piercing at Club Tattoo in Scottsdale, Audrey brings a thoughtful, client-first approach to the studio. While she enjoys every type of piercing, her favorite is designing full ear layouts, creating a custom look that fits the person, the jewelry, and the aesthetic vision. Conch piercings are a particular favorite, but her true specialty lies in turning a single piercing session into a start-to-finish experience that feels personal, calm, and memorable.
Audrey believes in guiding clients through the process with patience and care. She often starts by selecting jewelry first, recommending placements that naturally complement the client's anatomy and style. During the piercing itself, she uses breathwork techniques to help minimize discomfort and keep the experience grounded and relaxed. For Audrey, piercing is not just about technique. It is about trust and transformation.
Her creative style is influenced by the intricate worlds of fantasy novels and the visual storytelling that comes with them. She finds inspiration in seeing the final look come together and even more in the joy and confidence that jewelry brings to her clients. The end result is always worth it.
One of her most meaningful experiences came when a woman walked in to mark a new chapter in her life. After leaving the Mormon church and a former marriage, the client chose to get her first six piercings ever as a symbol of her freedom. They cried together and hugged afterward, a powerful reminder of how piercing can be deeply personal and profoundly healing.
Outside of the studio, Audrey lives in her creative world. She is a gamer and streamer, a lifelong fan of Legos, and unapologetically obsessed with The Lord of the Rings. She also has a background in kickboxing, which she started at age seven, and proudly owns her status as a former band kid.
One unforgettable twist in Audrey’s journey came during a trip to Las Vegas when she found herself having lunch across from the Club Tattoo location at Miracle Mile. At the time, she was considering stepping away from piercing. Nine months later, she was working in that very shop. For Audrey, it was more than coincidence.
