Tony’s journey into tattooing began in Portsmouth, UK, where a lifelong passion for drawing and a chance opportunity came together at the right moment. He landed an apprenticeship and never looked back. That was 28 years ago, and in the decades since, Tony has built a career defined by sharp detail, bold contrast, and a deep understanding of how art should move with the body.
Now tattooing at Club Tattoo inside The LINQ Hotel in Las Vegas, Tony specializes in heavy, detailed black and grey work. His designs often draw from classical statuary, horror, and the eerie, blending realism with darker, atmospheric elements. Whether it is a portrait of a weathered stone angel or something straight from a nightmare, Tony’s work stands out for its precision, intensity, and ability to flow seamlessly with the client’s form.
Tony approaches each tattoo with a focus on structure and longevity. He prioritizes strong contrast and careful composition, ensuring every piece holds up over time and looks like it belongs exactly where it is placed. His influences range from his early mentor to tattoo legend Tom Renshaw, but his creative roots go even deeper. He spent his youth immersed in music album covers, studying the artwork for hours, and those early obsessions still shape his style today.
Outside the studio, Tony’s life is a blend of creativity and connection. He is a classically trained musician who once played the Royal Albert Hall in London, and he has spent years traveling and playing in punk and hardcore bands. Music and tattooing have always been intertwined for him, both grounded in energy, expression, and culture.
One of his favorite memories is tattooing an alien baby on a 77 year old client’s stomach. It is moments like that, unexpected, fun, and unforgettable, that remind Tony why he still loves what he does. And while he takes his work seriously, the vibe in the shop is all about keeping it light. At Club Tattoo, he is part of a team that laughs a lot, has fun with clients, and makes every session feel like a good time.
When he is not tattooing, you can find Tony working with wood burning or charcoal drawing. But above all, his heart belongs to his family, who remain his biggest inspiration and support system.
