About the artist
Mario’s path into tattooing didn’t come easy — and that’s what makes it matter more. After attending fine art school in Europe, he moved to the U.S. with big ambitions and no English. He walked into a local tattoo shop looking for an apprenticeship and was turned away. So, he did what real artists do: he adapted. He bought supplies, started tattooing himself, and went back to show what he could do. This time, he got the job. A 6-month apprenticeship in Las Vegas followed — and he’s been building his career ever since.
Now tattooing at Club Tattoo at The Venetian, Mario specializes in black and gray realism, but there’s not much he can’t do. From portraits to florals, his style is fast, clean, and deeply detailed — shaped by years of fine art training and sharpened by a work ethic rooted in survival. For Mario, tattooing was more than a career — it was a way to communicate, to connect, and to create value in a new country before he even knew the language.
His biggest inspiration? Bob Tyrrell — a master of black and gray who helped shape Mario’s own approach to realism and depth. Mario’s proudest work includes a portrait of Al Pacino, but ask him what really drives him, and it’s clear: the art, the precision, and the people.
Working at Club Tattoo was always the dream — and now that he’s here, he thrives in the beauty of the casino, the energy of the team, and the daily opportunity to push his art further.
Outside the shop, Mario keeps his creative side alive with painting and personal art projects, always chasing the next evolution of his style. And here's the curveball: he only has one visible tattoo — a surprise to most who meet him, but a reminder that the artist doesn’t have to wear the canvas to master it.
His current favorite trends? Birth flowers and fine line. Least favorite? Roman numerals — clean, yes, but not quite his thing.
If you’re looking for technical precision, fast execution, and work with real soul behind it, Mario’s the artist who delivers every time.
