IS IT SAFE TO GET A TATTOO?
Both tattoos and piercings are very safe, as long as each artist and the entire studio adheres to both Universal Precautions and Blood Borne Pathogen Safety Standards. Luckily, Club Tattoo treats client safety as the first and foremost priority, requiring the highest level of sterilization possible, going above and beyond the legal requirement of all local health codes and regulations. On the consent form our clients complete before the procedure, we may identify certain instances when it would not be appropriate for an individual to receive a tattoo or piercing; if that happens, we will discuss the safety concerns with our client, but this would be a rare instance.

DO TATTOOS HURT?
Yes, it hurts, but there are lots of people walking around with tattoos and piercings so it’s not unbearable. There are many sensations used to describe the sensation, but it varies greatly from person to person and location on the body.  Some people even like it! If pain is a concern, ask your artist tips to get through the tattoo as quickly and painlessly as possible.

CAN I BRING MY OWN DESIGN?
Of course you can. This tattoo will be on you permanently, so we want to be sure you are totally happy. Bring anything you think might help to capture exactly what you’re looking to get. We also have interactive tattoo software on our touch screens that will help you look for more ideas and styles. This way your artist can create the perfect tattoo for you, regardless if you know exactly what you want or don’t have a clue. We will be happy to work with you in designing a custom piece of art that you will love forever.

HOW MUCH DO TATTOOS COST?
That depends on the size of the piece and the detail involved. Some pieces cannot be completed in one sitting. You will be given a quote once you meet with the artist and go over the details of what you want.

Currently, all of our tattoo pricing starts at $80 at our Arizona locations and $150 at our Las Vegas locations. This is our shop minimum to cover that basic costs necessary to provide you with the level of service expected from Club Tattoo.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
For any tattoo or piercing service, you must present a valid driver’s license or government photo ID to be photocopied. By law, you must be at least 18 years old for a tattoo or piercing without a parent/legal guardian present.  You (and your parent or legal guardian if you are a minor) must also read and sign a waiver / consent form.

HOW DO I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT?
On the Club Tattoo website, you can reach out to any of our studios using the Contact Form to set up a consultation with the artist of your choice. You can also email a tattoo inquiry over for pricing information. Perhaps the best option, stop by any of our studios to talk to any of our artists about your tattoo idea.

If you are making an appointment, a percentage-based deposit will be required to guarantee any appointment. In Arizona, a 20% deposit is required. In our Las Vegas shops, a 50% deposit is required.

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. You are allowed ONE reschedule with a minimum of 24 hour notice. If you reschedule your appointment with enough notice, your deposit is applied towards your new rescheduled appointment. However, if less than 24 hours notice is given, you will lose your deposit. and must leave another deposit if you choose to reschedule.  We are sorry if this policy causes any inconvenience, but it is necessary to protect the interests of our artists—their time and efforts are valuable.

WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR TATTOOING MINORS?
Club Tattoo will tattoo minors at 16 years of age with parental consent if our artist feels comfortable doing the tattoo. Parent or legal guardian (w/Documentation) has to be present with State Issued ID & Minor's ID or birth certificate. We are strict in our requirements to ensure proper age and that valid legal parental consent is presented, so please contact the studio directly ahead of time to find out exactly what you will need to bring to your appointment. 

CAN YOU COVER UP AN EXISTING TATTOO?
Our artists can usually cover up or fix most tattoos, even really bad ones, so you would never even know they were there. We are always honest, though. If we don’t think it can be successfully covered, we will let you know during the consultation and discuss your options to ensure you will ultimately be happy. At Club Tattoo, all of our artists take tremendous pride in their work, making client satisfaction our biggest priority.


WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY TATTOO’S HEALING?
Stage 1 (1-10 Days)
Do not expose the skin to sunlight or UV rays. Do not submerge your tattoo under water. The skin is still very prone to infection, so extra care should be taken to ensure it stays clean and gets good airflow. Following your artist’s aftercare instructions are crucial. At this stage, your tattoo is an open wound and an infection can ruin a tattoo that may have turned out otherwise perfectly. 

Stage 2 (8-21 Days)
During this stage, there will be a reduced immune response, possible scabbing, and light peeling. The tattoo typically becomes incredibly itchy, but try your best to not scratch it. If you have any scabbing, do not pick it. Despite the scab layer, the skin is still a healing wound underneath.

Stage 3 (21-180 Days)
During this stage, the skin is repairing all of its structure and beginning to function normally again. The tattoo may appear cloudy or hazy. This is because the skin is still healing. Sometimes, the skin may still be dealing with some inflammation and be warm and feel sore.

Stage 4 (Daily Care)
During Stage 4 the tattoo should be completely healed and looking 100%....as long as you do your best to keep it that way! 

TATTOO AFTERCARE
Your tattoo artist at Club Tattoo will give you a basic aftercare guide during your visit, so please follow their instructions.

For the first few days, keep your tattoo clean with a mild soap, using a gentle ointment like A&D or Aquaphor applied very lightly after the skin is dry. This helps keep the skin from drying out.
After 3-5 days, you switch to a fragrance-free lotion instead of an ointment. If you have any signs of scabbing on your new tattoo, be careful to not pick at the scabs—let them fall off naturally.
Continue to use lotion throughout the rest of your healing process (normally a few weeks). Your tattoo will look cloudy during the heal. This is normal and will subside as your skin heals.

PIERCING FAQ

DO PIERCINGS HURT?
Yes, it hurts, but there are lots of people walking around with tattoos and piercings so it’s not unbearable. Unlike tattoos, a piercing is a very quick process. They’re usually done in a matter of seconds. After the piercing is done, you can expect to have a little tenderness at the piercing site for at least a few days afterwards.

WHAT KIND OF JEWELRY DO YOU OFFER?
Club Tattoo takes great pride in offering one of the largest selections of body jewelry available. All of the jewelry we carry is of the highest quality available. Implant-grade titanium, niobium, white gold, rose gold, and yellow gold jewelry fills our cases so we can offer you the best jewelry options.

HOW MUCH DO PIERCINGS COST?
Basic piercings begin at $25 in our Arizona studios and $50 in our Las Vegas studios; plus the cost of the jewelry that you choose.

WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR PIERCING MINORS?

We will perform standard piercings on minors at age 14 with parental consent. Parent or legal guardian (w/Documentation) has to be present with State Issued ID & Minor's ID or birth certificate. We are strict in our requirements to ensure proper age and that valid legal parental consent is presented, so please contact the studio directly ahead of time to find out exactly what you will need to bring to your appointment. 

PIERCING AFTERCARE
Oral Piercings (lip, cheek, tongue, etc.)
Your piercing may swell for 1 – 3 weeks.  Take ibuprofen, suck on ice, drink very cold water to help air in reducing inflammation.  For the first 3 weeks rinse your mouth with alcohol free mouthwash (Biotene, Crest Pro-Health, Tech2000) after anything that enters your mouth aside from bottled water.  The outside of your mouth around the piercing should be cleaned twice a with an antibacterial soap and Neilmed Aftercare Spray.  It is important not to drink alcohol or consume tobacco products for the initial healing period to avoid irritating your piercing severely. For your initial healing period avoid oral sex, or open mouth kissing.  After 3 – 6 weeks have your piercer replace your jewelry with a shorter piece.  This is important as it will aid in the remaining heal time for your piercing as well as help to prevent gum erosion or tooth damage or further discomfort.

DO NOT USE: Alcohol, Hibiclens, Betadine or any petroleum-based product such as Bacitracin or Neosporin.  If you have any concerns, please contact your piercer or contact one of our studios directly.

General Piercings (ear, septum, nostril, navel, surface, nipple, etc.)
In the shower wash your piercing, jewelry and surrounding area once a day with a gentle anti-bacterial soap.  Be sure to clean the entire area and rinse the soap off thoroughly.  After showering, clean the piercing and jewelry with a liberal application of Neilmed Aftercare Spray using a q-tip.  Use the q-tip to gently wipe away any dried or crusty material or blood.  Do this 2 or 3 times a day.  Do not rinse Neilmed Aftercare Spray off.

Male & Female Genital Piercings: Follow the same instructions as stated above.  Be very careful in applying antibacterial soap as this may cause irritation to the urethra and vaginal opening.  For piercings that are transurethral (pass through the urinary tract), or near the urethra, your urine will cleanse the piercing.

DISCLAIMER: These guidelines are based on a combination of vast professional experience, common sense, research and extensive clinical practice.  This is not to be considered to be a substitute for medical advice from a doctor.  Be aware, however, that many doctors and dentists do not have specific training or experience regarding piercing, and may not be educated on how to best assist you.  IF you do get an infection, the jewelry should be left in, so that the infection may drain.  IF the jewelry is removed, the holes may close and result in an abscess.  Always contact your artist if anything seems abnormal or if you have any concerns.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO SHIP?
Most items ship within 48 business hours. Items do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday.

DELIVERY TIMES 
Standard Shipping orders will arrive in 3 - 5 business days from the ship date within the continental 48 states, 7-14 days for Hawaii, Alaska and US Territories, and up to 4 weeks for APO/FPO addresses. Expedited shipping has a delivery time of 2-3 business days. Orders are fulfilled Monday - Friday, not on weekends. 

HOW CAN I CHECK MY ORDER STATUS?
If you created an account when you placed your order, please log-in using your user name and password and your order status information will be available on your account page. If you checked out as a guest and did not create an account, you can also check your order status using the order number we sent in your order confirmation email to the email address you used when you placed your order.

TRACK YOUR ORDER
When your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation which will contain carrier and tracking information. If you created an account when you checked out, you can also obtain this information by logging into your account online.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES 
We have a 30 day return and exchange policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will make it right or refund your original purchase price (less the shipping and handling fees).  To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed with original tags attached. 

International (non-U.S.) customers will be allowed 45 days for returns due to the longer shipping times.

The date postmarked on the return package will mark when your package was returned.

Items non-eligible for returns or exchanges:

Items not eligible for return are body jewelry, wearable items that have been washed or worn, items without the original tags still attached, undergarments, as well as any perishable goods.

WILL YOU PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING FEE? 
If you are returning damaged or defective merchandise we will pay the cost of return shipping, just contact support@clubtattoo.com and inform them of the issues with the product, photographs are a great way to speed this process up. International (non-U.S.) returns cannot use prepaid shipping labels. If you are returning an internationally shipped order, please include your shipping receipt to be reimbursed or credited to your account. If we determine at our sole discretion that the merchandise you return is not eligible for return or exchange you authorize us to charge your original payment source the applicable return shipping charge.

WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS?
We are readily available Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. Weekend inquiries will be answered in the order of receipt on Monday (there is no need to resend as we answer the oldest messages and emails first).

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS 
If your order is shipping outside of the U.S., you are likely to be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, etc.) before delivery can be completed. Depending on the shipping method selected and your country, you might be eligible to have these customs fees, paid up-front upon checkout, this service is known as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). If eligible, you will be shown a breakdown of the customs fees at checkout.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCETPED?
We accept most major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept PayPal and Amazon Payments.

SALES TAX
Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to U.S. states where we have a business presence and/or we have determined sales taxes are applicable. Items shipped to APO / FPO military addresses are not subject to taxes. The amount of state sales tax charged is based on current tax rates. State and local tax rates are subject to change at any time. Tax will be refunded for returned items.

WHY DIDN’T ALL OF MY ITEMS SHIP IN ONE PACKAGE?
While we strive to include all items in a single package, however, due to our pick & pack process, this may not always be possible.  In such instances, you will receive an email confirmation and tracking information for each package shipped and there are no additional fees of any kind for split-shipments.

WHAT ARE PROMO CODES?
Promo codes vary and may apply to the price of a single item or an entire purchase. The discount reflects as a percentage off, or as a specific dollar amount and will be displayed in the cart after the code is applied.  Promo codes and special shipping offers may be limited by region, please read the promotional details carefully.

HOW DO I USE A PROMO CODE?
Add your item(s) to the cart and select Checkout.

Add the discount code in the Promo Code box and click Apply.

If the promo code is valid, your order will show the discount. If the code is invalid, an error message will display.

WHY ISN’T MY PROMO CODE WORKING?
