Tattooing and the art world found him, through family. Inspired by his uncle, an artist in the trade, Danny picked up the craft in 1992 and never looked back. After four years of teaching himself, he began a formal apprenticeship under Doc Storey in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1997. Since then, he’s been building a legacy rooted in patience, calm confidence, and a true dedication to the craft.
Danny tattoos out of Club Tattoo at the Miracle Mile, where he values the open, spacious studio environment — plenty of room to breathe, create, and connect. His style? It’s not about being boxed into one lane. Danny specializes in making people happy. Whether it’s a custom portrait, a symbolic piece, or something playful and unexpected, he thrives on creating whatever brings the client joy. His current project? A large-scale back piece of a male lion surrounded by cubs — a tribute to family and strength.
With a calm and methodical approach, Danny brings a sense of ease to every session. He’s motivated by his own family and inspired daily by the artists around him, constantly pushing his work to new heights. He’s also proud of his roots — born and raised on a reservation, Danny is Lakota Sioux, and that heritage carries strength and humility into everything he does.
When he’s not tattooing, you’ll find him painting in his studio — another outlet for the steady, creative energy he brings to every project. Ask him about trends, and he’ll tell you it’s not about what’s popular — it’s about what matters to the client. If you care about it, he cares about it.
If you’re looking for an artist who listens, who brings decades of experience with zero ego, and who finds purpose in every design — Danny’s your guy.
