Christina

Christina Kurlin has always leaned into the unconventional. From getting her lip pierced at 14 to hanging out in Glendale shops asking questions, she was drawn to body piercing long before she ever picked up a needle. That curiosity turned into a career when she completed her apprenticeship in Glendale, and five years later, she is now a professional piercer known for her precision, warmth, and calming presence.

Currently piercing at Club Tattoo in Mesa, Christina specializes in facial and ear piercings, navel work, and curated ear styling. She has a particular love for bridge and lip piercings, as well as conch and hidden helix placements. Her approach is gentle and thorough, always beginning with an anatomy check, followed by jewelry selection, and then a piercing that prioritizes both safety and style. Christina wants every client to feel comfortable, seen, and heard throughout the process.

A proud member of the Association of Professional Piercers, Christina takes education and ethics seriously. She is inspired by industry leaders like Lynn Loheide and Ryan Oullette, and she is passionate about creating a safe, informed space in an industry that can sometimes feel intimidating. Her goal is simple but powerful, make people feel beautiful in their own skin.

One of her most meaningful moments came when a septum piercing did not go as planned. The client returned weeks later to try again, and the second time, it was perfect. They hugged, cried, and shared a moment of connection that reminded Christina why she does what she does.

At Club Tattoo, Christina thrives in a team that feels more like family. The positive energy, support, and shared creativity make it the perfect environment to grow and thrive.

Outside of the studio, Christina lives for interior design, gardening, music, scary movies, and camping. She is dark and spooky on the outside but full of rainbows on the inside, and her clients love her for it.

As for trends, she is all in on angel fangs, hidden helix placements, forward nostrils, and chains. Whether you are new to piercing or adding to your collection, Christina brings care, confidence, and a little magic to every session.
