About the artist
Originally from Phoenix Arizona, Rae has spent half of her life in Houston Texas and now considers it home. Over the years, both places have shaped who she is today, personally and professionally.
Rae’s love for piercing began with jewelry and gemstones. Growing up, her grandmother — a jewelry maker — would take her to gem shows and conventions, where she fell in love with shining minerals and precious stones. She was fascinated by their natural beauty and the way they could completely transform a piece of jewelry.
As a teenager growing up in a religious and strictly conservative household, she found herself craving a form of self-expression. She gravitated toward musicians and alternative models, admiring their tattoos, piercings, and bold body modifications. To her, they were stunning — walking art. That admiration quickly turned into a personal passion. Piercing became more than just jewelry; it became a way to help others express themselves in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
Rae believes that adorning yourself with beautiful gems and shining metals is one of the best ways to celebrate your individuality. She loves organizing and designing custom curations that reflect each guest’s personal style and vision, helping bring their ideas to life in a way that feels intentional and uniquely theirs.
She also takes great pride in continuing her education as a professional body piercer. Staying up to date with industry standards, safe practices, and high-quality materials is extremely important to her. Her goal is always to provide piercings that are not only beautiful, but safe, precise, and done with care.
Outside of work, Rae enjoys collecting miniatures, spending time outdoors, rewatching old reality tv series’, and taking road trips. Most importantly, she loves spending time with and making memories with her daughter.
