Maudi grew up immersed in the world of body art, watching her mother tattoo at a studio in Fresno, California, before completing her formal apprenticeship in Monterey Bay. Now, as a second-generation artist with five years of experience, she is proud to bring her passion for the craft to the premier Club Tattoo studio at Mandalay Bay. Specializing in classic black and grey as well as intricate fine line work, she looks at every project as an investment in a lifelong masterpiece. Her artistic philosophy is rooted in a highly collaborative and creative process, where she integrate her clients' unique visions to precisely bring their ideas to life.

Her work is deeply inspired by creation, faith, and the shared human experience. As a painter, tattoo artist, and mother of two, she constantly draw on resilience and emotional depth, finding immense beauty in imperfection. This connection to heritage and narrative is best captured in one of her proudest achievements: tattooing a portrait of her great-grandfather, who is Yaqui Indian. While she has been influenced by phenomenal artists like Jake Mello, Donna Untalon, Franco Vescovi, and Alpay Efe, her greatest joy in this career is building genuine relationships and community with her clients through all of life's crazy stages. When she's not in the studio collaborating on a meaningful new chapter for your journey, you can usually find her painting, gardening, cooking, hiking, or hanging out with her family—and yes, most people would never guess that her very first pet was actually a rat!
