Jamone Wright’s tattoo journey began with a privilege, not just a chance but a calling earned through his lifelong love for art. He completed a formal apprenticeship in Georgia and from there launched into what has become an 18 year career marked by versatility, creativity, and intention.
Now tattooing at Club Tattoo in Mesa, Jamone brings a wide ranging, illustrative approach to his work. He embraces all styles, but his favorites are often rooted in nature, meaningful script, and tattoos with inspirational undertones. Whether it is a finely shaded animal skull sleeve or a delicate, soul charged script, Jamone focuses on making art that matters not only to him but to the person wearing it.
His artistic philosophy is simple. Stay open. Stay connected. He believes the most powerful tattoos come from the natural bond between artist and collector, where raw talent and honest storytelling create something lasting. Inspiration flows from daily life, the people he meets, and a deep reverence for the artists who came before him. He draws influence from visionaries like Salvador Dalí, Frank Frazetta, H R Giger, Jondix, and Filip Leu.

Outside the studio, Jamone is a creative soul through and through. He spends time cooking, writing, painting, and working with pen and ink. He enjoys nature walks and, in a detail that surprises most, bird watching, a quiet passion that reflects the patience and attention to beauty that also define his tattoo work.
