With nearly three decades behind the needle, Antonio, better known in the tattoo world as Humpty, brings a rare blend of seasoned craftsmanship, raw creativity, and pure heart to every piece he creates.
Antonio’s journey into tattooing started back in El Paso, Texas in 1995. What began with inking friends quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit of artistry under the guidance of a mentor named Snake. Since then, he's built a career defined by versatility, imagination, and dedication to the craft.
Whether it’s fine line detail, full color portraiture, or black and grey realism, Antonio works across all styles with ease. His passion lies in grayscale realism. His work captures depth, emotion, and nuance, often inspired by cultural motifs like Dia de los Muertos, which he’d love to do more of. Each tattoo begins with a strong creative vision and ends with a smile, because as he puts it, “It’s not work if you love it.”
Antonio's artistry is deeply personal. His wife is not only his biggest inspiration but also the canvas for some of his proudest work. Outside the studio, you’ll likely find him painting, fishing, or kicking back with close friends. That same energy is what he brings into every session: real, down to earth, and quietly brilliant.
