Chico

Chico’s tattoo journey didn’t start in a studio — it started at home, with a tattoo kit, a brave brother, and a whole lot of trust. Self-taught from day one, Chico’s been tattooing for 14 years, building his skills the raw, old-school way: through grit, experimentation, and an unshakable passion for the art.

Now tattooing out of the Club Tattoo Miracle Mile Planet Hollywood studio, Chico is known for both black and gray realism and full color work — a rare balance that shows off his adaptability and technical range. He doesn’t have a favorite subject, because what he really loves is the challenge: turning your imagination into something real, something wearable, something unforgettable. His style pulls heavy inspiration from graffiti culture, with bold movement, layered detail, and a sense of energy that brings every piece to life.

Chico’s philosophy? Stay open-minded, be real with clients, and never be afraid to tell the truth about what’s possible — because when you’re building something permanent, honesty matters. Instagram’s global talent pool keeps him inspired, but he’ll be the first to say it: his coworkers are some of the biggest artistic influences in his life.

Outside the studio, Chico’s a road trip guy and—surprisingly to many—a golfer. And if you ask him what stands out in his career, it’s not fame or flash. It’s the day his mom told him she was proud. That moment? Unmatched.

He’s not into trends. He’s into originality. So if you’re ready to create something that’s truly yours — not off the wall or following the crowd — Chico’s the artist who’s got your back.
