My name is Chris Long, I’m 26 years old, and I’ve been with Club Tattoo since 2005. I currently pierce at Club Tattoo Mesa. I was born and raised in Eyota, Minnesota, and ventured out to Arizona on a whim (thanx Burni). I apprenticed under Burni Ellis, and have not looked back since. I practiced the art while on the job training. After the long process of apprenticing, I became a full time piercer. I have worked in many establishments including cube farms, roof tops, dairy farms, and was the fastest grocery bagger in the tri-state area. I am more than positive that Club Tattoo has been the best lifestyle that I’ve been a part of.
The piercers that highly influenced my career are my co-workers. They provided me with the motivation and criticism to keep on truckin’ on. Without their support, and encouragement, I would not be where I am today. Piercing allows me to channel my creativity and allows me to have freedom. My interests include my fiancee (whom i met @ Club), video games, my ferret, music, the 90′s, workin out and kickin’ it.
I owe my success to my clients who are very loyal, my teachers who were very patient, and Sean Dowdell (the man) for believing in me.
