Kaytlan has been tattooing in Las Vegas since September of 2003. Her interest in art and tattoos started at a very young age, drawing pictures of her father reading books at the age of 5 started her love for realism and portrait work. Throughout the school years fellow peers would beg Kaytlan to draw on them so they’d look “bad-ass” with flames around the wrist and barbed wire armbands, oh how the years have changed, or have they. Kaytlan loves tattooing pin-ups, portraits, and anything photo realism whether it be black and grey or color, although she specializes in this style she is truly a well rounded artist and loves to put her own twist on any piece or idea that is brought to her.
Kaytlan moved to Las Vegas from the small town of Hollister, California to pursue her love for tattooing. Although there are some great artists in and around the area of Hollister, she believed that in order to grow as a artist she needed to surround herself around as many amazingly talented artists from all styles of tattooing and art in order to grow as an artist, being “just average” isn’t in her vocabulary. Throughout the years in Las Vegas Kaytlan has met and learned from many amazing artists as well as had the opportunity to get tattooed by them. Joey Hamilton is one artist that Kaytlan looks up to for his photo realism as well as Cleen Rock One for his amazing color. Although there are many many artists who have influenced Kaytlan throughout the years she gives the credit of her work to her clients.
